Description
Low-noise frequency & time reference for precision timing and navigation systems
TIC is a compact, high-resolution time interval counter designed for the characterization, comparison and continuous monitoring of 1PPS timing references.
Featuring seven physical inputs and twenty-one softwaredefined comparison channels, it enables flexible real-time analysis of time offset and timing drift between multiple
timing sources.
TIC is based on a fully digital architecture with FPGA-based signal processing providing precise, real-time measurements through digital signal processing. The underlying technology is field-proven in operational frequency and timing systems deployed in deep-space ground-station infrastructures.
Applications
- Time scale generation and UTC(k) laboratories
- GNSS and PNT infrastructure
- Space ground segment timing diagnostics
- Optical and quantum timing networks
- Atomic clock characterization and comparison
