Reliable timing infrastructures begin with a stable, low-noise reference. Designed for demanding applications where timing performance directly impacts system operation, RBX combines ultra-low phase noise, excellent long-term frequency stability and robust system integration in a compact 19-inch rack-mount platform.
Leveraging Cycle’s expertise in precision frequency and timing distribution systems, RBX delivers coherent frequency and timing outputs for satellite ground stations, GNSS infrastructure, metrology laboratories, scientific facilities, particle accelerators and precision test environments. The system has been developed to meet the requirements of mission-critical timing infrastructures where performance, reliability and ease of integration are equally important.
RBX provides six 10 MHz outputs and four 1PPS outputs as standard. Optional low-noise 100 MHz and 10.23 MHz outputs support high-frequency RF and navigation applications, while external 1PPS or GNSS disciplining enables long-term frequency accuracy without compromising low phase noise performance.
Beyond its timing performance, RBX has been engineered as a complete reference system for modern timing infrastructures. Redundant hot-swappable power supplies, integrated TCP/IP monitoring and control interfaces, and a robust system architecture enable reliable operation and straightforward integration into complex installations. Its performance exceeds CAT A clock requirements while providing the operational robustness required for continuous mission-critical service.
