Dr. Tadashi Togashi is an expert on time-resolved x-ray measurements using femtosecond-lasers at the SPring-8 Angstrom Compact free-electron Laser (SACLA) in Harima, Japan. Besides his own research, he is responsible for the optimization of the laser systems for user experiments. With his latest project, he shows how to significantly improve the results for scientists working on pump-probe experiments at SACLA and elsewhere.
