Our founder Prof. Dr.-Ing. Franz X. Kaertner will remain with the company in a central strategic role and focus on optical technologies.

Daniel Seiler has a Diploma in electrical engineering as well as business management knowledge from a part-time MBA program. He will take over full-time operational management of Cycle, including engineering and sales. Prof. Franz Kaertner, who heads the research group for ultrafast laser physics at DESY and teaches physics at the University of Hamburg, will continue to play a central role in Cycle as technical innovation driver.
